Lyrically Dangerous, It’s the Kid with the lyrical flow……So we ah do it!!!

Look Out… This quiet and friendly individual born on 22nd November in Boxton, Guyana filled with the love of music is no other than Karl Edwards. Although born in Guyana, he has lived his entire child life in Antigua. He began exercising his vocals at the age of 7 when he first did his performance at Cobbs Cross Primary School. During his days of growing up his love for music strengthened more and more throughout his life. In his teens when performing he would sing love songs & reggae songs to entertain the crowd. In the year 2000 Fucha Kid wrote “We are the leaders of All Saints School” for the young leaders group of the All Saints Secondary School which received 2nd place in the regional competition. In 1999 his cousin Naycha Kid migrated to Antigua and collaborated with him and together they performed throughout the island at various locations.

His stage name from then on changed to Fucha Kid as he was using “Karl” when performing. He has been part of the Chosen Sounds family since 2004 and he summarized it as the “Best studio there is in Antigua and no one can mix my songs to my preference” claims Fucha with strong motivation. His first Reggae track “Legalize it” was produced and recorded in 2004 and became his first ever hit. In 2005 his second single was recorded with Alicia Roberts “Ms. Teen Splash 2006” entitled ‘A Real man’. Fucha’s first regional tour began in November 2005 at the Gem Family Rave in St. Kitts and then it escalated to Trinidad, Barbados, Grenada, Montserrat and the list goes on. In 2006 he was and still is the first Rage in the Cage winner that is aired every Friday afternoon on Vybz Fm. Later that year he changed his musical style slightly to do a Soca song and completed Move, Carnival Time and Sexy Body Girls. His first time ever entering the Soca Monarch Competition was in 2006 and got as far as the Semi-Finals with “Move”. Luciano and Culture are Fucha’s biggest role models and appreciate them for who they are and helped mould him to who he is today. Mum (Denise Edwards) and Naycha Kid are and will forever be his biggest inspirations in Fucha’s life. Fucha’s songs are heard on all radio stations locally and several regionally in the Caribbean. “I see myself as Antigua’s greatest artist/entertainer in the next 2 years says Fucha Kid. With his continuous recordings of new and improved songs he keeps a positive heart to NEVER GIVE UP.
